Bay Harbour, a new oceanfront colony in Provincetown, sports the fine art of Shingle Style, luxury,smart-wiring and a growing private beach.

In the last 30 years, nature's accretion added nearly 250 feet of beach seaward from the colony's 500 feet of shoreline, taking it from flood to C-zone rating. Replacing the old Tides Motel are eight grand cottages on eight expanding acres sited for sunrise to sunset-inspired days and four have sold.

Each home has a unique design and staggered placement to assure bay views for all. This home's Gambrel roofline is mirrored in its detached two-car garage, which has a second-floor artist studio and bathroom.

"People want quality, fine detail, not boxy and they're willing to pay for that, even in down economic times," owner/developer Jason Stone said.
